It was the worst experience I have been through in my adult life. After submitting a requested document, a couple of days would go by and they would ask for a different document. Closing date didn't matter to VU, absolutely awful. And they just said it is normal (and it it probably is to them because they are so bad).
Veterans United did an absolutely amazing job! They worked so hard to get us into our home and in such a timely manner. We couldn’t be more thankful for their help and hard work. Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Thank you!
Miguel, Keagen, and the whole team at Veterans United were the very best. The whole homebuying process/experience was smooth from start to finish. From the first call to their office, Miguel didn't just answer our questions, he explained it in detail. Then as the to-do list started coming along, Keagen would personally check-in with us to keep us updated on what was happening next, and also ask how we were doing throughout the whole process. They will definitely be our first (and only) recommendation to anyone looking for a lender.

The beginning phase was great. Nathan was quick to answer my questions and phone calls. After the first few weeks, I could tell the tone had changed. I could sense an irritable attitude and hassle to answer questions. Once I was assigned the rest of my team, it went really downhill. No one was on the same page. One was telling me one thing, the other another. They failed to relay important information and documents to me due to "I forgot, I apologize." After that instance, the whole team was giving me nothing but attitude. They would only respond to my emails, in a timely manner I would like to mention, but the words they used were always assertive, demanding, and no questions asked. Very disappointing experience, and would never do it again.
I would absolutely recommend VU! They made me feel comfortable throughout the process and responded very quickly to any questions, comments or concerns!! This whole team including Blair is awesome!!!

Without a doubt, Veterans United will always be my 1st stop when purchasing a home. The entire staff is 100% legit and was focused on my case. Everything ran quickly at the start, slowed a bit in a minor fit and start, then picked up. Everything necessary was supplied quickly and responded to when dealt with. Quick response to questions and differing quotes, ideas and circumstances. Ultimately everything was completed within 2 days of target date
Yes, I would definitely recommend the team I had to help me maneuverer through the homebuying process. If I had to do it over again, I would want the same team. And Jeremy, was phenomenal, kind, understanding and I felt so confident throughout each phase of the loan. I didn't know about VU, but from this point on I will recommend all I encounter who wants to buy a home to VU.
