From day one, our team worked with us like a well oiled machine. It was awesome how one message or email would reach them all, and we would get answers from all of them. I’ve bought several homes in my life, and this experience and team was the best I’ve ever seen. We felt comfortable knowing we had answers and real people doing the best for us. Very quick and easy
Overall the experience was pleasant few things was little irritating, asking for paperwork already sent or vague information. Sometimes the communication wasn't the greatest but was still alright

communication and planning between veterans united, me and third party companies was poor. i was days before closing and was told i needed a well test (VU was aware that the house had a well several months before a test was ever brought up to me) also had a home inspection that stated no repairs needed and was informed days before closing that i did have repairs somehow. these two things pushed my closing date through no fault of my own and changed my interest percentage making my payment substantially higher. these items should have been brought to my attention much sooner. other than that everyone was helpful and explained things very well.
Do y’all even have Whataburger? Veterans United is better than a honey butter chicken biscuit. My experience has been so awesome from start to finish. I felt so attended to and I definitely needed that from the team. I can’t wait until I have family or friends in need that can see for themselves. Thank you all from the tips of my boots.

Really great experience. Nick Starkel was incredibly helpful, especially. He always picked up the phone immediately and answered all questions fully. He walked me through the entire process in a way that made complete sense coming from no home-buying experience.
I applied to three places for a home loan. Veterans United was the only one that called me, texted me, emailed me, and approved me on the very same day. The other two approved me within the week, and did not follow up with me at all. I tried contacting Navy Federal on my own and it took 3 weeks to even get a contact back from them.
