When I was looking for a loan company so I could leave the city I lived in, I first went to my old original company with a request. The company was based out of California and had little knowledge of the Midwest. I found My Veterans United through the internet and when I made my first call, I was hooked on a local company who really cared for veterans. Though I didn't want a VA loan, they were still very courteous and we talked about a conventional loan. The process was smooth and on the day of closing for my new house, I was glad I went that route. I have been in my new house for several days, and I still get messages asking how the new house is going. That's what I call caring. Thank you to Kelsey for all your hard work. Overall, my home buying process couldn't have been better! Other than one area that no one except the builder had control of. Our realtor that VU recommended was wonderful, our loan officer was a 10+ and the entire process from start to finish was exceptional. One thing that gets overlooked is the portal. I think the VU portal is awesome! The ability to watch the process is similar to watching your Domino's pizza in the app. You can see where it's at and what your loan officer is needing. The portal is great! Thanks for a rock star performance, VU and Cal!!!

Listen. If you are serious about owning a home, Veterans United is definitely a preferred option, in my opinion. The steps it took to purchasing our home was frustrating to say the least. In my wife and I case, we were purchasing from our landlord, so a realtor wasn't necessary. However, gathering the necessary documents, coordinating with the different agencies like appraisals, home inspections, insurance, title company, and loads of paperwork, signatures, and questions are still very much a part of the process. Our team, Nick Holman, Courtney Gully, Francie Greene, and the rest of their supporting members were there from the first phone until the closing on our home. They fielded every question, listened to all of our frustration, guided us through the whole process step by step, and we're encouraging, patient, professional, and, most of all, very polite, friendly, and engaging whenever we were in contact with them. I mean they kept in touch by phone, text, and email. Even sent us mail. Who does that in this technology age? Seriously, they were the best team my wife and I could ask for in communicating with us and our landlord to make this dream a reality!!
