Took a while to get to speak with someone about veterans united had to jump lots of hoops probably over 50 calls with Mr. Cooper and whichever other 3rd party on the “assumptions team” once I got to Moya and Blair everything was Gucci/ golden / good.

Our Loan Officer Jamie was a joy to work with. Between him and Julian we had all of our many questions answered clearly and stayed on top of our paperwork. I've tried and tried and tried to get some sort of loan after being in my home for 20 years. Wells Fargo Home Mortgage refused to help (even though I had 5 times the amount of equity in my home over what I was asking to replace a collapsed sewer line). Veterans United took the actual time to listen to my issues and needs and converted my "either/or" into an "and" situation: refinanced my mortgage, paid off some high interest bills, and was able to get me enough cash-in-hand for my sewer line replacement. AWESOME AND EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED!
Listen. If you are serious about owning a home, Veterans United is definitely a preferred option, in my opinion. The steps it took to purchasing our home was frustrating to say the least. In my wife and I case, we were purchasing from our landlord, so a realtor wasn't necessary. However, gathering the necessary documents, coordinating with the different agencies like appraisals, home inspections, insurance, title company, and loads of paperwork, signatures, and questions are still very much a part of the process. Our team, Nick Holman, Courtney Gully, Francie Greene, and the rest of their supporting members were there from the first phone until the closing on our home. They fielded every question, listened to all of our frustration, guided us through the whole process step by step, and we're encouraging, patient, professional, and, most of all, very polite, friendly, and engaging whenever we were in contact with them. I mean they kept in touch by phone, text, and email. Even sent us mail. Who does that in this technology age? Seriously, they were the best team my wife and I could ask for in communicating with us and our landlord to make this dream a reality!! Veterans United is the reason my state finally feels home. Because now I have a place to call my home. Sharing a living space (apartment) was stressful for me with all the noises I couldnt see the cause of. The veterans united team made this process so easy and understandable.
