I would recommend Veterans United one thousand percent and then some. They were so communicative throughout the entire process. Never once did I feel as though I did not understand what was happening or lost. Any questions that I did have, they answered and were extremely patient. The entire VU team was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It made me feel as though this was not my first time buying a home because it felt so natural. I was afraid the process would be long, hard, and maybe someone would pull the wool over my eyes. But the transparency of the VU team made all those fears go away. They truly are in this for the right reasons and it shows. They helped me and my family purchase our first home in less than a month and we are forever grateful and blessed!
We are happy that VU worked really hard to get us funded, but the process was really confusing.SUGGESTION
Once a potential buyer or seller qualifies Veteran' United services, then have Gavin (not sure of the position title) to review a checklist of what to expect during the journey i.e. time lines, paperwork, expectations, and an overview of the processes. We didn't know the process.So, we were just asked to sign documents 99.99% of the time that weren't really aware of what we were signing. We took the time to read it --when we could, but when we asked question we received the real estate response, which caused us to research the information online to learn for ourselves.Oftentimes, I did not feel like the responses to my questions were truly addressed and it was confirmed with our closing document.Overall, at a certain point we'd lost faith in the entire journey of owning our home .Although the team never gave up on us, clearer explanations and more patient, supportive communication would greatly improve the experience.Anne and Bri were awesome, but be mindful to show grace.Marie: We would have not did services with VU and I am happy that we were able to change loan officers.
The entire team was very helpful and the experience was great. I closed in 21 day. They made it so easy.
There were some hiccups, but Kollin and the rest of the team made every effort to make sure that they worked out at the end.
