The entire team did a fantastic job from beginning to end, our Buyer’s Agent, my wife and I were all so pleased with our first Home buying experience!

So grateful for Adam and Mason in making my dream home a reality. They were there every step of the way making sure everything was just right!

Katie tried to sell me an inferior loan product, and the two customer advocates I spoke to made excuses, failed to deliver in their promises for follow-through, and used delaying my closing as a scare tactic. This company fought so hard to keep me from learning about the better loan on the table that it's hard to believe it wasn't intentional. If I were less persistent, or less financially literate, VU would have happily kept an extra $2K of my life savings.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Anthony,
I’m really sorry to hear about your experience. What you described—feeling misled about loan options, let down by our team, and pressured during closing—is the opposite of what we strive for. Homebuying is stressful enough without wondering if the people helping you are actually on your side, and I hate that we left you feeling that way.
I want my team to dig into this more and get a better understanding of what happened here. If you're willing, please reach out so we can talk through your concerns. You can reach us directly at 1-800-212-5200 or by email at ClientAdvocate@vu.com.
The Client Advocate team is here from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, but reach out anytime and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Chris was there and available to answer any questions and was quick to respond. He was professional, and courteous Cooper. Chris and Mason were all very professional, courteous and personable. They were quick to respond to emails. Texts, and calls and answered all questions we had and helpful with all the paperwork we needed.Any using the app made things simple. Easy and quick.

Today’s world is so electronic in nature that it took awhile to figure out who the team was. Unfortunately one of the team left the company and everyone rallied, but it puts a dent in the flow of information. Overall, it was a good experience and we would certainly suggest other veteran families to trust that Veterans United does not take short cuts and everything you need will be taken care of!

If anyone is looking to buy a home veterans should be the first people you should call, they are Aces in my book! It's been a long road with COVID and all but veterans was there all the way I would like to give thanks and praise to my real estate agent Kelsey for all she did and the lawyers who got the paperwork straightened out in the end, Jose and John you guys were very helpful and listened to all my worries thanks to everyone for your help. Yours truly, Daniel Boudreau.

Ed, Mike, and Jeffrey were awesome to work with. They were so organized it helped me feel calmer with this purchase. They were always available when I had any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend Veterans United to anyone.

Veterans United is 10 out of 10 recommend. Very professional and patient team that goes through the whole process with you. The literally carry the load for you. - Grateful “NEW” Homeowner

Response from Veterans United
Hi Joseph,
I hear you—no one wants to feel buried in paperwork, and I’m sorry this process was so frustrating for you and your wife. We know homebuying comes with a lot of documents, but it shouldn’t feel overwhelming. I’d love for my client advocate team to hear more about what happened so we can look into it. If you’re open to chatting, you can reach us at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com.
New to home buying and have heard a lot of horror stories which is why I stayed away from purchasing a home. The team that took care of me Kaleb, Alix, Frank, Jon are awesome at what they do. Thank you all for making us part of the family.

Thank you!
