Matt and the team were easy to work with and made the process pretty painless. I have and will continue to recommend them to other veterans.

The first time I worked with Veterans United Tommy was amazing at helping me navigate the process, I was a young bachelor just out of the Navy and it was all overwhelming and he helped me figure it out. I remember my first conversation with Tommy I was in the parking lot at McDonalds relocating cross country after getting out of the military unexpectedly and I kept saying I had no clue what benefits I had or where to even start. I was still on administrative leave pending my medical separation and Tommy kept telling me it would be alright and he would get me through the process. It’s that incredible support and service that brought me back to Veterans United this time around. And don’t you know it they stepped their game up even more the second time around. Here we were relocating cross country again and this time with a wife and a 15 month old son trying to figure it out again. And the concierge program that y’all added was incredible. I honestly think any veteran would be foolish not to work with Veterans United. Twice now I’ve been against the wall trying to figure out these cross country moves and twice now Tommy has bailed me out. I know whenever we look to buy again if ever we do move, my first call will be to Tommy to figure it out. Seriously someone over there owes him a beer or something.

OK, so, I have always preferred renting for the convenience, but then about a year ago I was somehow inspired to buy a home, if I could find the right now. I h ad stumbled onto VU and had contacted them with my interest in doing a VA loan, which would be my first. My best friend "sister" and I spent months trying to find one close to her house, (My mom has dementia and I am her caregiver and my friend and her family have helped me care for her and she has become part of their family) Unfortunately, they were all high priced and still a bit away distance-wise, so we kind of tabled it for another time. For anyone who doesn't think prayer works, they might want to recheck that! A mutual friend of ours owned a house literally across the street, and one day she told us that she and her husband were going to move back to TX and they decided to finally sell the house. Once my friend told her about me wanting it, she didn't even list it, instead doing a FSBO, which took out the middle man. I contacted Alec and crew to tell him I had finally found a house and he was so excited for me! He literally took care of everything and brought in Elizabeth and Blake to hold my hand through the process, which took less than a month! When they said they were going to do something, they did it and with high quality caring. They found a title company locally that also was awesome with very helpful and attentive people. They even had gotten a beautiful sign made for my craft room! It was one of the very few times in my life that I have done business with an organization/company where it was obvious these people had answered a calling to do this and genuinely loved it. They are an example of what customer care (aka service) is supposed to be like. I've been an RN for over 30 years, and a psychotherapist for over 7 years, so I know first hand the importance of making sure my clients feel taken care of. I have their phone numbers starred in my contact list, and whenever I meet a fellow Veteran wanting to purchase, Veterans United will be THE first company, and they will be the first names I give out. Somebody, please give these folks a raise, or at least a nice Christmas bonus!
Thanks for everything and Merry Christmas!

Moving and purchasing a new home when you live on a fixed income can be extremely stressful. Add on top of that being a disabled person and senior citizen and it can become a disaster waiting to happen. This is why I choose to work with Veterans United. They understand the difficulties many veterans like myself face and work diligently to be honest, upfront, and understanding throughout the process. The team I had kept me informed every step of the way through texts, emails, and phone calls. I never had to worry about not knowing what was next - and there were no hidden surprises - because my team of professionals made sure the purchase process was smooth all the way to closing. I would highly recommend Veterans United for any veterans looking to purchase a new home. For this Navy vet, it was smooth sailing!

Always excellent service with veterans united and Dylan and team.

Absolutely amazing! With Zach and Jennifer were both professional yet personal at the same time. Anyone who has VA benefits and looking to purchase a home or refinance cannot go wrong with Veterans United and Zach and Jennifer. Thank you both!!

When I started the homebuying journey, I wasn’t sure what to expect — but working with Veterans United quickly put me at ease. From the very beginning, I felt like more than just another customer. I was treated with respect, transparency, and genuine care every step of the way.Chris Rohr and Melissa were a dream team. Chris explained everything in simple terms, answered my questions with patience, and made sure I always knew what was happening behind the scenes. Melissa was on top of every detail — professional, proactive, and always one step ahead. They didn’t just process my loan; they guided me like trusted partners and made the process feel effortless. And then there’s Noelle — my Home Buying Concierge. Her energy and support from the start were incredible. She checked in just to see how I was doing, offered helpful resources, and made sure I was connected with everything I needed. That kind of above-and-beyond service really stuck with me.Buying a home as a veteran can feel overwhelming, but Veterans United made it feel empowering. I wasn’t just buying a house — I was securing my future, and they helped make it happen. To any veteran out there: if you’re on the fence, let me be the one to say — go with Veterans United. You won’t regret it.

We had a brokerage that was very hard to work with, our buying agent was not very encouraging in the process of buying our home especially when they knew we were going to use the VA loan. We were told the VA takes forever to get under contract and even to close on your home. When I had reached out to Veterans United, I talked with Stephen Scott, he helped us to understand the process. He helped us get prequalified and also helped with getting our agent on board. I would recommend Veterans United to anybody that can use their VA loan. They were on top of the whole process to the day we closed. Now we have our home of our dreams because of them. It is very reassuring to know that you have a whole team that works with you.

This was my second consecutive home purchase with the assistance of Veterans United Home Loans. I hope I never must use them again for a purchase but that's only because I have my forever home. But refinance? In a New York minute, I'll be calling the team at Veterans United. I appreciate their hard work, and transparent communication. They gave a timeline, and they stuck to their end of the deal. We were off by a couple of days, but that was 100% on me. Feel free to pass them the baton. They'll take it and run the race of their lives for you.

From the very start Veterans United has did a great job, this was my reason for coming back to them for a refinance loan.

You all made the process simple from start to finish. Yohannes reached out every step of the way and was available anytime I had questions. I can't wait to be apart of this team again in the future. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication and above all for making my family's dream come true!

I tried to use VU when we bought our last house but it was new construction and their preferred lender had some side deal with the builder and we got a discounted rate that was well below the prevailing interest rate. Fast forward 3 years and we had to move for work again and I called VU first thing and really glad I did. While they do ALOT of VA loans, they do offer other types of loans , but do yourself a favor if you’re a veteran- get plugged in with VU - you’ll be glad you did. They’re fantastic and cater to veterans!

I have done my last 2 home purchases with Veterans United Home Loans and was able to also refi of each home loan with better interest rates when I was ready with none of the hassle or pressure tactics normally seen with other lenders. Best experience all around. Not only have I been a long term customer, I will continue to work with them on future opportunities and recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you & Bravo Zulu!
