This is my second time working with Mike—first for buying a home, and now again for refinancing. Through countless texts, calls, and emails, he’s remained punctual, efficient, and calm—even when the paperwork got a bit overwhelming and I wasn’t exactly a ball of zen. Mike handled it all with ease and a friendly demeanor. A true professional!
Trying to get financed and close on a home is extremely stressful. There will be times when your loan officer will need to be "creative" and will ask for things that don't seem to make sense. Just go with it... they need the deal as much as you need the loan! At Veterans United, my loan officer did exactly that. And I was like "Why does she need this? Or what do I have to provide that?" In the end, my loan was not only slightly lower interest, I was able to close easily due to proper documentation and every possible issue considered and resolved ahead of time. Again, extremely stressful no matter how good your loan officer is. It took a month and a half but this went smoothly. If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have worried so much about the loan crashing. So, I'll pass this along to whomever will feel better after reading it. Ciao!
