The challenges we had to overcome in my situation were probably more unique to my situation (off grid property in a remote area of a remote state) than deficiencies in Veterans United protocols. The good news is that VA financing is doable for off grid properties. You just have to be patient with the process.

The team that helped me through the home buying process was amazing! I was beginning to think that I was never going to find a home that fit me and that it was not going to become a reality of owning my own home, however, through everything the team that I got connected with was there for me the whole time every single step of the way encouraging me and reassuring me that this was going to happen and it did!! I found a great little place and my team really came through for me to make it mine!!!
I can't really say if I would or wouldn't recommend to others. If you know what you're doing in the home buying process it's probably much more helpful and fine enough. As a first time buyer I largely felt unsure and then ridiculed any time I asked questions or had worries. It was very turbulent and uneasy on my end.
