The preapproval was faster than I expected and then they were very patient since I still had a few months before I could start house hunting and actually put in an offer due to apartment lease agreement. This was my first time buying a home and they walked me through every step of the process. They stated in touch and gave me great advice throughout the entire process as well as staying right on top of any last-minute paperwork changes due to closing date being moved twice. This is my second VA loan and this went as smooth as it could have. VU is great. Hanna and Mark were great. Our realtor wasn’t too savvy with VA loans but Hanna really broke it down and explained everything which was reassuring to her and the sellers agent to get the deal done. I truly can’t think of anything negative through out the process. They were always in communication via text, calls, emails and the app/site made it very easy to see what they needed for documents for underwriting.We didn’t use VU for our first home but glad we did this time. If I ever buy in the future, I will be using Veterans United and would recommend them to any veteran I know.
