The whole process was great. I had never used my VA home loan as previous agent disparage the use saying conventional loan was easier but this was my best home buying experience I have ever had after 3 previous home purchases. Most would agree that we are currently living in very uncertain times. Between inflation, politics, and the daily problems of the world there is much reason for concern and uncertainty. Some clarity regarding closing cost. Originally loan officer said get the seller to pay. Upon on our country offer, he reduced the closing cost by $2000.00, because he thought it would cover it. We ended up using to pay cost. So that was frustrating. Our appraiser went on vacation before completing the appraisal & that delayed our closing.
From start to end Samuel Short and his Team made my home purchase a pleasure. They advised me as what I needed to get done and those options available to me.
