The team that helped me through the home buying process was amazing! I was beginning to think that I was never going to find a home that fit me and that it was not going to become a reality of owning my own home, however, through everything the team that I got connected with was there for me the whole time every single step of the way encouraging me and reassuring me that this was going to happen and it did!! I found a great little place and my team really came through for me to make it mine!!!
Blake Thompson always had time, was patient, understanding, and caring even when the subject was not homes and getting a sale he listened when a veteran needed to vent. Overall, just a great experience. I would highly recommend veterans united to any veteran purchasing a home.
The constant miscommunication from the internal teams at VU is extremely poor. There were multiple times I had a conversation with one and a completely different message was passed along leading to extreme frustration. The underwriting team especially.

If they would have just stayed with our file from day one this all would have been figured out way faster and way smoother. The whole process was kinda of a joke and submitting the same documents over and over was frustrating.

This was my first home buying experience. I had heard the nightmares and stress of home buying from friends and family in the past. Luckily a few friends recommended Veterans United because It was the least stressful and best home buying experience they’ve ever had.
