As a first time homebuyer, I’ve never felt so left in the dark or misguided through a transaction, even down to the most simple of details for instance what money needs to be in a checking account and when? Response times grew long or went absent as we got closer to closing day. Loan estimates, origination fees, and cash to close kept changing right up until close only for the rate to need to go up to secure the close. The American dream has become predatory in this economy.
