I've tried and tried and tried to get some sort of loan after being in my home for 20 years. Wells Fargo Home Mortgage refused to help (even though I had 5 times the amount of equity in my home over what I was asking to replace a collapsed sewer line). Veterans United took the actual time to listen to my issues and needs and converted my "either/or" into an "and" situation: refinanced my mortgage, paid off some high interest bills, and was able to get me enough cash-in-hand for my sewer line replacement. AWESOME AND EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED!

Locking in loan options and underwriting speed could be improved. Market volatility greatly impacted the process and it would be innovative for Veterans United to make it possible to lock or shield during volatility.

The loan team we had at Veterans United Home Loans was the absolute best. They were knowledgeable, experienced, and efficient. Additionally they cared about us as individuals. Never did we feel like just another loan. Business dealings are difficult enough and having Veterans United Home Loans and our loan team made all the difference!
I think it’s ridiculous the amount of money Veterans United holds in escrow for taxes not yet assessed.
