It was my first time buying a home, and I landed on the Veterans United homepage from a Google search, and it really saved the day. All of the documents and appraisals and inspections that have to be done in order to buy a home would have been a nightmare to deal with on my own, and it was all laid out plainly and clearly with the app. My loan officer and the whole team that worked with me were top notch, the to-do list really helps as well, because you get notifications about it as soon as your team put something up for you to do. And basically if you just follow that to-do list and satisfy all of those requirements, everything falls into place. It was surprisingly simple, because all of the complicated things were handled by professionals that really felt like they were working in my best interest the whole time. Thanks again for all the hard work and expertise that was afforded to me, I could not have done it without y'all.

My family and I are very thankful for the hard work the team did for us. We are very happy with our purchase and looking forward to creating many memories in our new home.

Everyone was awesome and left no questions unanswered. I will always use this team for buying homes!!!

Matt and his team were wonderful! We would highly recommend them to everyone!
They are all a 10+
We were blessed that they were our team, Matt, Landon and Joedi - they are great!
If you need a loan, request Matt and his team!!
Thank-you all! Many blessings

Cole proved to be a great asset in navigating the process. Asli, left much to be desired. There were multiple instances of misinformation, confusion (on her part) as to how the process should progress, and overall Cole found ways to assist and move things forward while Asli's competency was questionable.
Response from Veterans United
Hey Thomas,
I really appreciate you sharing your experience. It’s great to hear that Cole was such a helpful guide throughout the process, but I’m sorry to hear that other parts of the experience left you frustrated. Clear communication is so important, and it sounds like we could have done a better job making things smoother for you. If you’re open to it, I’d love for you to connect with my team so we can learn more and continue improving. You can reach us at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We’re in the office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST Monday through Friday, but feel free to reach out anytime.
Wendy and her team were amazing. This is the third home I have purchased and by far has been the best experience. I had constant communication throughout and everything was very well explained. This home buying experience was SO much better than my previous and I just cannot put into words how much easier everything was with Veterans United. The online process was smooth and quick. Everyone I work with are shocked at how fast I was able to close on a home!

I will use VU again!! And again for home buying always! Thank you for helping me buy my dream home!!

I couldn't have been more satisfied; Veterans United Home Loans is a top-notch company. I would recommend Veteran United without any reservation.

Shoutout to Kevin, Max, Ashley, and the rest of the team at Veterans United! The whole team was truly a blessing to work with and I appreciate the patience and support they put into getting this done and making my family’s dreams come true!

At closing, the title company and notary were very impressed with our file. Our appointment only took 10min as everything was already done

From offer to closing in less than 30 days! What more can I say? Thanks to the great Veterans United team and Katie Rose! It’s was a great experience. She kept us on track, was very attentive to our needs/questions, and processed everything very quickly. It was by far the best home loan experience I’ve had in my 62 years!

Great experience both buying and selling with VU. Matt and team made us feel included in the process and put us at ease .

The process can be confusing for those of us who are not well versed on how everything works. It can be very difficult to understand. The only suggestion I would make, because the website with the to do list helps a lot, is to gather all the data first, all the documentation, and then set the closing date 30 days out, just in case there are any issues, or any further documentation is needed. I know it can be unpredictable, but it seems the standard two weeks out just is not enough; therefore it has to be extended over and over again. In order to ensure the process runs smoothly, I think a standard 30 days would be a lot better. I also think that getting all necessary documentation before the process is even initiated would be better as well, thank you.
